I quit.

October 5, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

NevereverquitYesterday, I wrote a brief message about never ever quitting. I stole that phrase from the last place (as of earlier this year) Texas Rangers and showed a picture of the AL West title they had just won. That accomplishment is nothing short of miraculous.

Their marketing pieces used the phrase back in the spring. I thought it was a marketing phrase, at least. I was wrong. They took it to heart.

They didn’t quit on themselves. Look where it got them.

They did, however, quit probably hundreds of other things that weren’t serving them in their quest.

Today is the first day of my new life. I quit my cushy high-paid corporate job. Why? Because I have chosen to never ever quit on myself and my ideal life.

Stay tuned…

Do you have questions?

October 1, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

Walking away from rose garden in sun with hatWho are you meant to be? Who were you created to become? How can you best serve?

The desires you have – yes, even the secret ones – all give you clues to the answer to all of these questions and so many more.

It is all right here

It is amazing how things and people come into your life at just the right time. This is occurring all the while, regardless of whether we are aware of it. Regardless of what our eyes may see at present.

When you love yourself enough to slow down and listen to your intuition, your best self, it all begins falling into place and you just know it. The view from within is magnificent!

So what’s the real question?

September 28, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

question markYou tell yourself that you don’t know what to do. You ask a trusted friend or coworker for input. And another. And another. You ask someone and you get an answer that seems right in the moment. You accept it. At least for now.

Then you find yourself asking again. You tell yourself it is because you don’t know, that you are unsure. But that is not quite right.

The reason you question is that anyone else’s answer doesn’t matter.

For, of course, you have known all along.

Pink elephant?

September 27, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

Origami paper pink elephantOne of the coolest things about my lovingME mindset and lifestyle is that it continually expands and takes more form as I learn and grow.

I recently realized something important.

I had been looking all of this time at these old programs and limiting beliefs and identifying with them as something I had received from my past inputs. In the last few days I thought, wait. What am I doing? Why am I looking for trouble? Why am I focused on what isn’t serving me rather than now putting all my thought energy into what does serve me? So rather than telling myself, yep, there is that old belief coming up again, that fear or lack mentality showing its ugly head, why not IMMEDIATELY replace it with what I know other successful people believe?

It is like looking at the glass and thinking yep, there I go again, I was thinking it was half full (LOL I meant half-empty, this stuff works!). This old programming sure stinks to make me think that. Instead I think well, I know that successful people see what they DO have, they look for and magnify the positives rather than focusing on what isn’t or what they prefer wasn’t. We can work with what we have. We can maximize what is available to us now rather than lamenting what we don’t have. This is not to say we ignore the facts. We are grounded in reality and optimize our assets.

Looking for and uncovering the old programs is useful in the beginning when we are just coming into awareness. Once we know what they are, any additional energy we put there just reinforces what we seek to leave behind. It’s kind of the “don’t think of the pink elephant” concept. Let it fall away by consciously choosing the better thought as soon as you notice.

This becomes much easier with practice and is especially helpful when the negative self-talk begins. Oh man, I did it again, I did something that I “shouldn’t” or didn’t do something I “should” is replaced immediately with I make excellent choices for my best life. I always take care to do what is right for me now.

The lovingME mindset

September 24, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

Are you clear on what it is you want out of life? Have you taken the time to ask yourself what you would like today? Have you gotten quiet and thought about what would make your life better?

How will you know that you got it then? How will you know if you missed it by a mile?

Blindly going along with life, dealing with whatever comes your way without proactive thought is a recipe for a life lived according to someone else’s plan. If that is how you like to live, then great and more power to you. Most of us, however, haven’t chosen that path consciously and simply fell into it out of habit. It’s how most everyone we know lives.

We were born for more. I am choosing more now with every thought I think. I call this the lovingME mindset. And it is a goldmine.

It’s a mind of gratitude, abundance, love, respect, kindness toward and acceptance of myself and all others. A mind constantly focused on expansion, growth and experiencing life at its fullest according to MY inspired design. A mindset that anyone can cultivate through practice.

Do you dare to question everything?

September 23, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

Finding Truth Among LiesLife is hard.

There is never enough.

Well somebody has to do it and if I don’t no one else will.

There just aren’t any good (jobs, men, houses, people, investments, etc.) anymore.

I guess I will just have to wait and see.

That’s just the way it is.

It’s the economy.

I have to pay for my sins and those of my family.

Who says?

Where did we get all of these ideas and beliefs?

Have we taken the time to really ask if these ideas are true?   Or do we just repeat them and live by them because it is what we were taught? Are they serving us or holding us back?

Do you dare to question their validity?

Truth always holds up to our deep questioning and serious scrutiny – to the Light.

Does the shoe actually fit?

September 22, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

Blue Sexy Shoes

There is so much opportunity out there in this great big world of ours. It is fascinating how we can miss so much of it when we are focused only on our little corner.

I recently spoke with a gentleman who was selling shoes. He was in one of the best places to sell shoes and had made a long-term career out of it. His dad had been a shoe man as well, owning a store of his own and showing his young son the ropes from the age of 12 or so.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with selling shoes. I ran a shoe department myself shortly out of college and I know that the good ones do quite well for themselves.

This gentleman, however, mentioned that he was simply counting the years until he would retire. YEARS???!!!! In response to my suggestion that he do something he loved, he said that it was too late and he guessed he was born to sell shoes. What?! How can it be too late when you are still alive? How can it be too late when you have life and breath and health and years ahead to wait? How can you be born to do something where you count the days until you no longer have to do it?

This man absolutely has the right and privilege to stay where he is comfortable. He has a right to believe what he wants to believe. I wish him all the best and I will buy my shoes from him if he is there.

I choose a different path. I choose not to wait. I choose expansion. I choose to look further and seek higher perspectives continually. I choose to love and care for myself now and later. I choose to step into new shoes every season!

Just like brushing your teeth

September 21, 2015 By Susie Franscini Davis

young girl without a tooth while brushing teeth in the bathroomOur thinking, words and actions create our lives. These thoughts, words and actions end up creating habits and routines. They can be created mindfully – intentionally, in order to live our best life, or by what we unconsciously or blindly do each day. We live with the results either way.

Remembering this truth today, I realize it is time for me to take another close look at my habits and routines. They can always get better.

Are you ready to take a look at yours, too?
